Batesville, IN—Wednesday afternoon, the Batesville Police Department responded to a report of an accident with a vehicle on the railroad tracks south of State Road 46 near Batesville Boulevard.
Randall Konradi, of Guilford, was westbound on State Road 46 when he lost control of his white 2002 Ford Taurus. The vehicle went off the left side of the road, down an embankment, and came to rest on the tracks.
There were no reported injuries in this single-vehicle accident. Train and vehicle traffic was temporarily stopped while the vehicle was recovered.
