Shirley A Tice Huffman, 81 passed away February 20, 2018. Born in Aurora IN on August 27, 1936 to Oka Tice Sr. and Nettie Bills Tice
She was the loving wife of the late William A Huffman Sr., from 08/29/1952 till his passing in 2011. She was a loving mother and friend to all. She loved to cook homemade meals and always had enough to feed all the neighborhood children that would show up at her house. She loved to sew and crochet. She made many things with beads, especially angels, until her sight started failing her. The last couple of years, she spent helping to babysit and spoil her great grand daughter Bailey.
She is survived by her loving family ,brother, Oka Tice Jr. of Guilford, IN; children, Harold (Charlene) Huffman of Cloverdale, IN, Esther Bevis (Keith Haley) of Aurora, IN, William (Davetta) Huffman of Crescent Springs, Ky; Son- in -law Raymond Bevis of Aurora, IN; step-daughters, Elizabeth Dennis of Hornell, NY, and Barbara Nelson of Cincinnati, OH; grand children: Raymond A (Chelsea), Cassi, Lee, Angelia, Allen, Robert, Tonia, Thomas Jr, Charles, Barbara, Mary, and many great and great- great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband; William A. Huffman Sr.; son, William A Huffman Jr.; brothers: John Brooks, Russell Brooks, George Brooks, and Leroy Tice; sisters: Nancy Brooks Herrick , Catherine Brooks Hill, Marcie Tice Green, andGladis Tice Randall
A remembrance picnic will be held at a later date.
