On Tuesday, January 12, Shelley (Hon) Ritenour, loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 54. Shelley was born September 23, 1966 in Dearborn County, IN to Luther Hon Jr. and Wilma Joy (Shelley) Hon. In 1987, she married Charles J. Ritenour and within this marriage had one son, C.J. She received her degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph and worked as an accountant for many years.
Shelley was preceded in death by her brother, Brian, father, Luther, and mother, Joy. She is survived by her son, C.J., daughter-in-law, Monica Ritenour, two granddaughters, Charlotte and Eleanora, brother, Martin Hon, and two nieces, Kristen (Hon) Selmeyer and Morgan (Hon) Popham. She loved her family, past and present, fiercely.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:30 PM in Dillsboro, IN with her final resting place at Oakdale Cemetery next to her parents and brother.
