(Shelbyville, IN) – Shelbyville knocked off visiting Batesville 63-49 in boys JV basketball Thursday night.
The Golden Bears led all stops: 19-11 after the 1st quarter; 29-25 at halftime, and 50-35 after three.
Batesville outscored Shelbyville 14-13 in the 4th period to provide the final margin.
Jackson Peetz led the Bulldogs with 13 points, while Hank Bohman added 10.
Also getting in the score book were Levi Hunt with nine points; Winston Garrett with six; Sam Dice tallied five points, and Ryan McGuire, Liam Moon and Luke Richardson each scored two.
Coach Jay Gerkin’s JV squad finished the season at 18-4.
