The RCHS XC teams competed at the Union City Invitational this past weekend. The Boys Team won with the meet with a total team effort. Sophomore Hunter Parmerlee led the Lions with a 3rd place finish with a time of 18:24 while Charlie Sterrett finished 7th overall in the race. Other scorers for the Lions were Wyatt Jacobs (12), Ryan Schindler (13), Isaac Krodel (18) and Isaac Schelle (19) respectively.
The girls team finished 3rd in the race. Leading the Lady Lions were Seniors Olivia Wehr and Ashley Whitham finishing 15 and 17 of the 65 racers. Other scorers for the Lady Lions were Maddy Hankins (23), Sofia Kemple (31), Gentri Wallace (34), Mia Norvell (35), and Jorja Ellis (38).
