The Rush County 4-H Fair kicks off today, launching a week of family fun, livestock showcases, and heart-pounding track action through July 5.
Friday morning starts strong with the 4-H Tractor Operator’s Contest at 8 a.m. on the midway, followed by the 4-H Rabbit Show at 9. By 11 a.m., the Horse & Pony Show trots into the 4-H Horse Park.
This afternoon brings the Open Sheep and Meat Goat Show at 3 p.m. in the Pioneer Livestock Pavilion.
And the excitement ramps up tonight at the fairgrounds track with Micro Sprints. Hot laps and qualifying get rolling at 6 p.m., with racing under the lights starting at 7. General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Pit access is $30 for all ages.
