Roger Lee Powers-62 of Lexington, TN

Roger Lee Powers, 62, of Lexington, Tennessee, passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, Tennessee.  He was born on November 25, 1961, in Greensburg, the son of Lester Wayne and Elise Faye (Parker) Powers. He was born and raised in Decatur County and has resided in Lexington, Tennessee the past 4 years. Roger was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the National Guard. He enjoyed model building. He is survived by his sister, Alice F. Lynch of Columbus, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Lester Wayne Powers, Jr., Grover L. Powers, Charles Lester Powers and Jerry Wayne Powers. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Jay Vanderbur officiating. A time of visitation will be on Saturday, January 13 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
