Robert Wayne Percival Sr., 79, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born April 12, 1942, in Aurora, IN, son of the late Robert L. Percival and Geneva (Webb) Eichler.
He worked as a clerk for Whiteys Liquor Store,with over 7 years of service. Robert retired from Avon and Lens Crafters.
He was the organist for Atonement Lutheran Church for several years. Robert was also an ordained minister and filled in at the Aurora United Methodist Church and Zion Lutheran Church. Robert was a band leader for the Aurora Red Devils, and a member of the Tri-state Prime Timer. Robert loved to cook, and owned a catering business with Ed Feerer.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert Percival, Jr. of Sunman, IN, Stephanie M. Schubert of AK, Debbie (Kenneth) Dean of Fairfield, OH; grandchildren, Niki (Jason) Brinkmeyer, Robert (Amanda) Percival III, Larissa Barns, Joshua (Jasmine) Barns, Fisher Percival, Alyvia Percival, Amber Schubert, Brittany Schubert, Robert Schubert, Christy Gronas, Doug Dean, Danny Dean; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Jane Percival and Ed Feerer and a brother, Estal Lee Percival.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
A Service will follow at 5:00 pm with Pastor David Hall officiating.
Interment will be in the Spring Grove Cemetery.
