Robert Karl Neukam, age 59 of Batesville, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The son of Ralph and Celia (Lipps) Neukam was born on September 20, 1957 in Batesville.
Robert worked for Bigg’s as a meat cutter until he retired. He loved the outdoors, especially going fishing. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Michelle (Jeff) Rauch of Guilford, IN, Melissa Donk of Batesville, Shane (Stacy) Miller of Batesville, Kim Ferketic of Pittsburgh, PA, and Christopher Neukam of Indianapolis, IN. He was blessed with eleven grandchildren, Dylan and Mariah Head of Guilford, Sawyer Donk, Hannah Donk and Corey Volk of Batesville, Hunter Miller of Brookville, Abby and Chloe Miller of Batesville, Emily Ferketic of Pennsylvania, Lily Evans of Shelbyville, IN and McKenna Neukam; plus two great grandchildren, Gabriel Young and Grace Head; and his sisters Sandra Spaulding of Indianapolis and Mary Neukam of Greensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two spouses, Karen Sue Brinkmann and Karen Sue Stamper-Miller and a brother Mike Neukam.
Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4-6pm immediately followed by 6pm funeral service all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation c/o the funeral home.
