Robert Irven Wilburn Sr., 84, of Harrison, Ohio, formerly of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born December 23, 1937, in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Dawsey Wilburn and Katherine (McGelligot) Wilburn.
He worked as a Maintenance &Fireman for Monsanto, retiring after over 30 years of service. Bob enjoyed fishing, camping, scuba diving, and flying airplanes.
Robert is survived by daughter, Tracy Wilburn of Cincinnati, OH; sons, Robert Irven (Christy) Wilburn Jr. of North Bend, OH and Larry R. Wilburn of Addyston, OH; brother, Richard Wilburn of Harrison, OH; Grandchildren, Conner Wilson, Regan Wilburn, and Ryleigh Wilburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dawsey and Katherine (McGelligot) Wilburn; wife of over 30 years, Marlene (Schoffner) Wilburn; siblings, Johnny, Jim, Dawsey and Tommy Wilburn;
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home,Wednesday at 1:00 pm following visitation.
Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, Ohio.
