Robert E. Keith, age 81, of Batesville, Indiana died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood, Indiana.
Born June 12, 1935 in Jennings County, Indiana he was the son of the late Ralph & Lula (Grant) Keith. He was united in marriage to the former Janet L. Smith on August 25, 1973, and she preceded him in death on May 8, 2006.
Bob was retired from Sunman Telephone Company where he was employed for over 38 years as a lineman and safety director.
Survivors include 13 children, Bobby Keith, Terry Keith, Kathy Keith, Peggy Benham, Janet Hollon, Timmy Keith, Shannon Keith, Amy Luttle, Mindy Keith, Dustin Keith, Taylor Keith, Tessa Keith and Chandler Keith; five step-children, Dennis McLaughlin, Denise McLaughlin, Michael McLaughlin, Jill Arnoldy and Jason Arnoldy; a sister, Lois Nichols of Scottsburg, Indiana; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Janet, he was preceded in death by a brother Donald Keith.
Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.
Pastor Mike Miller will officiate the Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stipps Hill Cemetery in Franklin County
