ROBERT DALE HISRICH, PH.D

Robert Dale Hisrich, PH.D age 78, born in Batesville, IN beloved husband of 52 years to Bettina “Tina” (nee Frik Preuninger); loving father of Kelly Nash (Richard), Kary McCumby (Kevin) of Biloxi, MS and Katy Hisrich, PH.D of Grayslake, IL; dear grandfather of Rachel, Andrew and Sarah Nash; brother of the late William Hisrich (Marty); uncle of Angie Quebman and Elizabeth Hisrich; son of the late Dr. Lloyd William and Ella (nee Whipple) Hisrich. Robert passed away, Feb. 1, 2023, in Cleveland, OH.

He was the Bridgestone Chair of International Marketing & Director of The Global Management Center and International Programs at Kent State University.  He was also a visiting and honorary professor at more than eight universities in six different countries.  He has authored or co-authored 37 books and written more than 300 articles on entrepreneurship, international business, venture capital, management and marketing. He also was the former Director of the Walker Center of Global Entrepreneurship at Thunderbird School of Global Management and a professor at Case Western Reserve University.

Funeral Mass St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140 Monday, February 27th 10:30 AM. Interment Private.
