Robert “Bob” Billingsley, 58, of Versailles passed away Friday, January 15. 2021 at his residence in Versailles. Bob was born to Robert “Sonny” Billingsley and Carolyn (Dunn) Kraus on Saturday, August 18, 1962 in Dearborn County, Indiana. Bob married Shelly Houston on April 27, 1996 and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2017. He attended the Bridge of Hope Church. Bob loved being outdoors, whether he was fishing or just tinkering outside. He enjoyed collecting coins. His greatest joy was spending time and playing with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his son Levi Billingsley of Harrison, Ohio; daughters Samantha Young of New Jersey, Katie Holt (Stanley) of Rising Sun, and Toni Peterson (Shane) of Vevay; brother Jeff Billingsley (Belinda) of Greendale; sister Teresa Henry of Greendale; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Carolyn, wife Shelly Billingsley, and mother-in-law Geraldine Houston.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Bob from 6 – 7 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 7 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to the Family.
