Ripley County travel advisory status change

Ripley County, IN — A dangerous winter storm affected Ripley County, causing widespread hazardous road conditions. The Ripley County Commissioners issued a Travel Warning (RED) for overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning.

Effective at 11 am today, the Travel Warning (RED) will be canceled and changed to Travel Watch (Orange) until further notice. Ripley County road crews will continue to clear roads throughout the day and into the evening. Ripley County Government Offices will remain closed and are expected to reopen on Wednesday for normal business hours.
