Richard “Bo” L. Bocock, 79, of Milan passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Bo was born on Saturday, July 24, 1943 in Milan; son of Lewis and Almira (Hinman) Bocock. Bo served in the United States Army. He also spent over 50 years driving a semi-truck over the road for Baylor and Billman Trucking. Bo was a member of the Milan American Legion Post #235. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and riding his Volkswagen tri-bike.
Bo will be missed by his companion Joyce Pickett of Milan; son Tony (Amy) Bocock of New Castle; six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Almira Bocock; brother Eddy Bocock; and granddaughter Ellyson Mae Hinshaw.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Bo from 10AM-12PM Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 12 PM. Burial will take place in Craven Cemetery with military rites by Milan American Legion Post #235. Memorials may be given in honor of Bo to the Milan American Legion Post #235.
