Multiple media outlets are reporting the Indiana Pacers and head coach Rick Carlisle have agreed on a multi-year contract extension.
Terms were not disclosed.
The 65-year-old Carlisle has guided the Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals the past two seasons, including the franchise’s first conference title since 2000.
The 2024-25 Pacers were one win away from capturing their first NBA title, but fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the Finals.
Carlisle has led the Pacers since 2021. He previously served as head coach of the Blue and Gold from 2003 to 2007.
