Reds win weekend games, Bengals make huge OL signing

The Reds won both spring training games over the weekend.

On Saturday, Cincy scored seven times in the first inning on its way to a 9-3 victory over the Athletics.  Aramis Garcia drove in five runs on a first-inning granny and a third inning solo shot.

And on Sunday, the Redlegs beat the Giants 9-4.  Cincy saw Jonathan India, Chris Okey and Aristides Aquino all homer.

And the Bengals are making another addition to the offensive line as they poached tackle La’el Collins from the Dallas Cowboys.

All three O-linemen Cincinnati has signed are upgrades to the slots they will be filling.  However, Collins is the best of the three.  Last season, he graded out at 84.0 which is the fourth best rating among all right tackles according to Pro Football Focus.

The Stripes also recently signed center/left guard Ted Karras of New England (73.0 PFF rating) and right guard Alex Cappa of Tampa Bay (74.2).
