The Cincinnati Reds can’t seem to buy a win against the Milwaukee Brewers. With Monday night’s 3-2 loss, Cincinnati has now lost 5 straight to their division rival.
Milwaukee got an early 1-0 lead thanks to an RBI single by William Contreras in the bottom of the first.
The Reds grabbed a 2-1 advantage in the top of the 3rd with a 456-foot 2-run home run by Elly De La Cruz.

Scoring would stall between the two teams until the bottom of the 9th when Christian Yelich hit a walk-0fff single off of Alexis Diaz, scoring Blake Perkins to give Milwaukee the 3-2 win.
The loss snaps Cincinnati’s 5-game winning streak. The loss also extends the Brewers’ lead in the NL Central to 1.5 games
