Becky who was now retired, was an educator at New Horizons Rehabilitation, and later served as a beloved support staff member to many students that she cared deeply for at Franklin County High School. Survivors include her longtime companion Richard Whitaker of Brookville; four immediate children, Jessica Hamilton (Jason Faust) of Batesville, Indiana; Josh Hamilton (Dawn Hudson) of Connersville, Indiana, Lauren (Brian) Starr of Connersville, Indiana, Ethan Hamilton of Brookville, Indiana; and Richard’s children; Chris Powell, Richard (Jill) Whitaker II, David (Ashley) Whitaker all of Ohio. Becky was the proudest grandmother to seven cherished immediate grandchildren; Brian Doherty, Sophia Starr, Isabella Starr, Nolan Starr, Amelia Starr, Kynlee Johnson, and Rylan Hamilton; and Richard’s six additional grandchildren. Six nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children, Brian (Kim) Ripperger, Tara (Dan) Ball, James (Christina) Ashley, Gabi (Dakota) White, KC (Rob) Fitzgerald, and Sara (Taylor) Steel. In addition, she had numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews that all meant the world to her.
