(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation will accept grant applications during the month of June for the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund.
Nonprofits that serve Holton are invited to apply for up to $500 in grant funds to support a charitable program or project.
In the wake of the deadly tornado that struck the Town of Holton in 2012, the community foundation stepped up to collect donations and aid recovery efforts as well as fund the construction of a storm shelter.
Although the storm shelter was never built, the fund, now called the Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund, has grown substantially over time.
The Holton Warhorses Legacy Fund application must be submitted through the Ripley County Community Foundation website at https://rccfonline.org/grants/ no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 30th.
