Firefighters back Frye

Indianapolis, In. — Incumbent Republican state representative Randy Frye from Greensburg, has been endorsed for re-election in House District 67 by the Indianapolis Professional Firefighters PAC.  Frye retired in 2010 from the Indianapolis Fire Department after 26 years of service as a professional firefighter. As a legislator, he serves as chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee.

“Thank you for your dedication and service to all of the residents of Marion County as a firefighter and to the State of Indiana as a State Representative. Your experience, professionalism and integrity will be a great asset at the Indiana State House,” Henry Harris, president of the 2,300-member Indianapolis Professional Firefighters Local 416, said in a letter to Frye.

Frye represents House Dist. 67, which includes parts or all of Dearborn, Decatur, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties. In addition to being a retired firefighter, Frye is a small business owner and serves as a member of the Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee and the Roads and Transportation Committee. He resides on a small farm in rural Decatur County.
