(Greensburg, IN) – The Decatur County Central Committee has appointed John Pratt as the new County Chair.
Pratt is a retired school teacher, local historian, and author.
In his new position, Pratt says he aims to prioritize two key initiatives: “Reengaging the base, and fielding candidates for all local races,” he said. “It is essential to provide choices in a democratic system, and we hope to empower the citizens of Decatur County with a diverse slate of options at the ballot box.”
Pratt is a lifelong resident of Greensburg, where he resides with his wife, Jill, and their two daughters.
“We are thrilled to have John step into this vital role. He will continue to build upon the strong foundation established by our previous leadership team,” said Ryan Maddux, Treasurer of the Decatur County Party Central Committee. “As a big tent party, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all community members can thrive.”
