BATESVILLE, IN — Margaret Mary Health (MMH) continued to see the positivity rate and the overall number of COVID patients decline in the past week, with 38.8 percent of patients (88 in total) testing positive.
The hospital says the overall percentage of hospitalized COVID patients who are unvaccinated continues to trend around 85 percent.
Ten patients are currently on the Med/Surg floor, with one of those patients in the Special Care Unit.
Five of MMH’s patients are COVID-positive.
The Indiana COVID-19 Strike Team will be in Batesville Wednesday, February 9 through Saturday, February 12 to provide COVID-19 tests (including rapids) and vaccines.
They will be located at the Batesville Area Resource Center at 920 County Line Road from Noon until 8 pm each day. 
The vaccine and tests are available at no cost.
