West Harrison, IN — Early Sunday morning around 2:35 am, a male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, that left the scene of the crash, in the area of WhiteWater Motors along Harrison Brookville Road in West Harrison.
The vehicle is described as a full size, dark colored Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck. According to officers, the truck should show damage to the front passenger side of the truck and may be missing the passenger side headlamp. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information or tips regarding this incident to be directed to Detective Sgt. Gena Allen at 812-537-3431.
The name of the victim is being withheld at this time but will be released later. The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police.
