Police find narcotics and money in traffic stop

Greensburg, IN — Saturday, an officer with the Greensburg Police Department observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed traveling on I-74 at the 134-mile marker. As the officer began to catch up with the vehicle, he activated his emergency lights. The suspected vehicle then began to accelerate and reach speeds of 120mph.

The vehicle eventually came to a stop. During the traffic stop, the officer began speaking with occupants of the vehicle, where the officer alleges an odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle.
During the search of the vehicle, officers allege locating a large quantity of narcotics and money in the vehicle. During the investigation, Jarrel Myles, of California was taken into custody and transported to the Decatur County Jail where he was charged on allegations of Dealing Marijuana, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Reckless Driving.

The other occupants in the vehicle were charged on allegations of Possession of Marijuana and released.
