Peter S. Henretty of Seagraves, TX passed away Thursday, August 8th at the age of 63. He was born on February 20, 1956, in Muskegon, Michigan to William and Margaret (Simko) Henretty.
Peter graduated from Batesville High School (Indiana) in 1974 and worked for many years as a carpenter. One of the companies he worked for was Romweber in Batesville, Indiana, known for their unique furniture. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football and baseball and cheering for his favorite teams the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He married Joyce Garcia on June 6, 2001, and she survives.
Peter is survived by his wife Joyce, children: Margaret (Brad) Marcy, Jolene (Travis) Volk, Maria Manning of Indiana, Ada Sierra, and Gabriel Marinez of Texas. Two brothers: Michael Henretty of the Philippines, Kevin Henretty of Arizona; one sister Mary Ellen Upell of Arizona; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother and father, his son Michael Paul Henretty and sister Jacqueline McCardell also preceded Peter in death.
Peter wished to be cremated and services will be held at Saint James Catholic Church in Seminole, Texas on Saturday, August 31st at 10:30 am.
