Patricia “Pat” Ann Struewing Grieshop, age 94, of Osgood passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2024 in Westfield, Indiana. She was born in Morris, In on October 7, 1930 the daughter of George and Estella (Grunkemeyer) Struewing.
Pat grew up in the Morris community along with her brothers. She was a graduate of Batesville High School. She married John Allen Grieshop on June 25, 1955 in Morris. They moved to Osgood and were blessed with sons Daniel and Randal.
Pat was a long time member of St John Catholic Church. She was active in the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She had worked as an administration assistant for Hillenbrand and also several years working with Bill Borchelt’s fuel company in Osgood. Her true passion was always being mom and being a homemaker.
She is survived by son Daniel Allen (Nancy) Grieshop of Westfield, brother Herman “Ham” Struewing of Batesville, grandchildren; Bradley Daniel (Heidi) Grieshop, Katelyn Ann Demo, and Benjamin Hicks (Abby) Grieshop, 7 great grandchildren, and sister-in-laws Roberta Struewing and Deloris Greishop. She was preceded in death by husband John Allen, son Randal John, brothers James and Richard Struewing, as well as her parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 10 am. – 12 pm. at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood. Mass will start shortly after 12 pm. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Osgood. She will be laid to rest beside her husband and son at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery in Morris. Memorials can be given to the Ripley Count EMS in care of the funeral home.
