Patricia Louise “Patty” (Darby) Baker, 93, of Milan, formerly of Mayville, New York, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Ripley Crossing. Patty was born on Tuesday, April 8, 1930 in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania; daughter of William and Emalea (Miller) Darby. Patty worked as a school bus driver and also as an office assistant at the Council of Aging in Mayville, New York. Patty was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Batesville. She was a member of multiple organizations in New York such as the VFW Auxiliary, Chautauqua Fire Department Auxiliary, and Eastern Star. Patty enjoyed spending her time with her Boston Terrier dogs who she loved dearly.
Patty will be missed by her son Randy (Sharon) Darby of Holton; daughters Doctor Phyllis (Kevin Leicht) Baker of Iowa City, Iowa, Paulette (Jay Freeman) Baker of Dewitville, New York, and Tanya Baker of Jamestown, New York.
Patty was preceded by her husband Donald Baker and son Dennis Baker.
Services will be held at a later date in Mayville, New York. Memorials may be given in honor of Patty to the Chautauqua Fire Department.
