Osgood man convicted of Domestic Battery

VERSAILLES, Ind. — An Osgood man has been convicted on domestic violence charges in Ripley County Court.

The jury convicted Jason E. Ell, 35, of Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child and Criminal Confinement, both level 6 felonies.

The charges stem from an argument that Ell and his girlfriend had back on June 28.

Police say they responded to the incident and arrested Ell for attacking the victim in the presence of a five-year-old child.

Ell faces up to four years in prison. His sentencing hearing will be March 16.
