The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending May
13.
Congratulations to the area athletes who earned player/golfer of the week honors.Kynadee Bode earned Co-Player of the Week honors in softball. Bode had 3 HR and 15 RBI at the plate in 5 games last week. On the mound, she went 5-0, striking out 31 batters in 28 innings.
In boys golf, Jac-Cen-Del’s Sam Schwering received Golfer of the Week honors. Last week, Scherwing shot a 38 at Rising Star and a 39 at Belterra.
A congratulations also goes to the Milan Indians on winning the ORVC Boys Track & Field Championship. Milan scored 171, doubling second-place Southwestern Hanover’s score of 85.5.
