The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending December 17.
Congratulations to ORVC Players and Performers of the Week from Ripley County schools.
Reagan Hughes from Jac-Cen-Del is the Girls’ Basketball Player of the Week. In two games, Hughes scored 39 points, had 10 deflections, pulled down 8 rebounds, connected on 5 three-pointers, and had 4 steals.
South Ripley’s Evan Eaglin shared co-Performer of the Week honors with Nathan Furnish of Switzerland County, while Eaglin’s fellow Raider Darcie Diem is the Girls’ Swimming Performer of the Week.
Eaglin recorded leading times of :25.35 in the 50-yard free and 1:04.68 in the 100-yard fly.
Diem was clocked at 2:16.54 in the 200-yard free and 1:13.98 in the 100-yard fly.
