One seriously injured in Versailles crash

 Versailles, In. — Wednesday at 11 a.m. Indiana State Police say a car driven by Gary Gibbs, 37, of Greensburg crossed the center line of U.S. 50 eastbound near Gas Light Drive in Versailles causing a collision with a another car driven by Sally Houzanme, 42, of Tell City.

Houzanme was extricated by the Versailles Fire Department and flown to University Hospital in Cincinnati with serious injuries. Her condition is not klnown. Gibbs and a passenger, Rhonda Hanely, 30, of Greensburg, were transported to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville with minor injuries. As required by law, Gibbs submitted to a blood test while at the hospital.

U.S. 50 was closed for about one hour during the investigation.
