Brookville, In.— A report from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says a Brookville man was injured in a car/deer crash early Sunday, September 30.
Around 1 a.m. a car driven by Jimmie Amyx, 35, was southbound on State Road 101 when a deer entered the roadway near the intersection of Golden Road. Amyx swerved and drove off the road into a ditch and ended up in a field.
Amyx was flown from the scene for treatment. His condition is not known.
