Ohio’s overnight curfew lifted

Ohio — Ohio’s Governor, Mike DeWine has lifted the state’s overnight curfew due to improving Covid-19 numbers across the state.

The curfew was lifted Thursday and now businesses, like bars and restaurants, are permitted to resume normal hours of operation. The curfew has been in place now for 84 days, when it began on November 19, 2020, in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus.

The initial curfew called for Ohioans to stay home and businesses across the state to close from 10 pm until 5 am daily. Those hours had been pushed back to 11 pm in late January.
