Obituary for Rosemary Kay Colvin

Rosemary K. Colvin, 76, of North Vernon, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born November 17, 1945 in Shelbyville, IN, she was the daughter of Oral Evert McIntyre and Lelia Mae (Goins) McIntyre.

There were many things in life that Rosemary loved. She always enjoyed working on puzzles and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Rosemary was a fan of NASCAR and college basketball. Family and friends that would visit her could always hear her old classic country music playing on her television during the day. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Jonathon (Alisha), Heather, as well as others; great grandchildren: Damian, Jayden, Dalton, Oliver, as well as others; sisters: Rita, Sharon, Brenda; brothers: Larry, Harold, Jerry, Dick; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Carol.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Clyde Boling; second husband, David A. Colvin; companion, Hobe; sons: Langley Boling, Rex Boling, Wayne Boling; and 5 siblings.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home and will start immediately following the visitation at 12:00 pm with Pastor Greg Redd officiating. Burial will take place at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
