Michael “Flo” Dale Flory, 62, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in Carmel, IN. He was born on August 21, 1960, in Greensburg, IN. He was the son of Robert “Red” Lee and Georgann Theresa (Bloemer) Flory, who preceded him in death.
Michael graduated from Greensburg Community High School in 1978. His last employment was with Stanley Black and Decker in Shelbyville, IN, where he worked as a machinist.
Michael enjoyed Rock and Roll, played the bass guitar, and sang lead in several bands (Lincoln Street, Driving Force, Train Wreck, and Rampage) that entertained throughout the Greensburg community and surrounding areas for many years.
He is survived by his three daughters: Kaitie Flory, Meagan Flory, Alyssa Flory; sister, Raynel (John) Wilson; and a nephew, Andrew Kinney.
Family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home to pray the rosary. A memorial gathering will be held afterwards from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 5:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
