Oldenburg, IN — The Oldenburg Academy volleyball team will host the Milan Indians Thursday (September 22) at the Hillenbrand Family Feldhaus for the annual “Volley for Hope” game benefitting a local family in need.
The Twisters will have a gift card raffle and will take up a collection to benefit the Noah Haessig family.
Haessig is a Milan High School graduate who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on State Road 101 back in March. He is still in therapy and will require additional surgeries.
Raffle tickets will be sold this week at school and at the gate Thursday evening.
The JV match begins at 5:30. Afterward, there will be a drawing followed by the varsity match.
Donations may be made by cash or check on the night of the game or by Venmo (@Oldenburg-Academy) to the school’s Finance Department.
Please be sure to indicate “Volley for Hope” on checks and Venmo donations.
There are two gift card baskets: the first is valued at $70 and tickets are $1; the second is valued at over $360, and tickets are $5.
