The Oldenburg Academy doubles team of Evelyn Storms and Mimi Wilder had quite the dominant showing at the Girls Tennis Regional at Kokomo on Saturday.
In the semi-final match, the duo defeated Molli Runestad and Grace Keener of Leo 6-2, 6-1.
The stellar play would continue in the championship as Storms and Wilder would defeat Emma Need and Hannah Hodgen of Twin Lakes 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the IHSAA State Finals at Park Tudor in Indianapolis.
They will meet North Central’s (Indpls.) Rachel Grissom and Caroline Robinson in the quarterfinals at 2p on Friday.
