North Decatur wins MHC boys golf title

The Mid Hoosier Boys Golf Championship went to defending title holder North Decatur. On Saturday at North Branch, the Chargers won by 62 strokes over second place Southwestern Shelby, 320-382.

ND’s Carson Parmer also repeated as individual champion firing a 2-under 69, a career low which included a chip-in eagle on the final hole.  Jack Koehne’s 78 was also a career best.  Joining Parmer and Koehne on the All-Conference team was teammate Collin Bryant who posted 81.

Other scores for North Decatur- Brady Espinda 92 and Xavier Adams 95.

Team scores:  North Decatur 320, Southwestern 382 (by tiebreaker), Edinburgh 382, Hauser 384, Morristown 397 and Waldron 451.
