In Edinburgh, the Lady Chargers claimed their 11th conference title on Thursday night by defeating MHC foe Edinburgh 63-20. The win marked not only back-to-back MHC titles, but it’s also the 17th consecutive conference win dating back to 2022. The team was balanced with their attack on offense with 8 different players in the scoring column. Ella Kunz led the team in her final MHC clash with 18 points. Kelsey Haley knocked in three first-half triples to end with 9 points. Carmen Thackery and Clare Kinker both chipped in 8 points in the contest. Sydney Rohls added 8 points and was 2/5 from the charity stripe. Madi Allen connected for 6 points and Ally Whitaker put 4 through. Jo Whitaker rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

The team is next in action on Friday night against Milan in the second round of sectional play. Sectional 45 is being played at North Decatur. A tip is set for 6 PM.
