Aurora, IN- The South Dearborn Tip-Off Tournament championship game saw the Lady Mustangs from New Washington High School square off against the North Decatur Lady Chargers.
New Washington came out on top in the match up 56-47, in a game that was closer than the final score indicated.
James led the Lady Mustangs in scoring early and often. She ended the game with 24 points and found baskets when her team was on the ropes during North Decatur’s comeback attempts.
North Decatur played from behind for the entire contest but narrowed the lead down to 1 point in the 4th quarter when a series of free throws from the Lady Mustangs put the game out of reach for the Lady Chargers.

The Lady Chargers drop to 1-2 on the season and are set to battle county rival Greensburg on the road Tuesday night (11/8).
