North Decatur Girls Cross Country Compete in a Seven-Team Invitational

The North Decatur Lady Chargers traveled to South Decatur on a hot and humid afternoon to compete in the seven-team invitational and captured the team championship for the second year in a row.

Leading the way for North in a season-best time was junior Dorothy Robbins crossing the line in 3rd place in 23:50.  Freshman Norah Ameberger continues her consistent improvement as she set another PR finishing in 6th place with a time of 25:30.  A trio of Chargers rounded out the top 10 led by junior Ava Lecher (26:45) in 8th place, Jewel Verseman (27:23) in 9th place both with season-best times and freshman Jessie Biltz in 10th place with a new PR of 27:54. Crossing the line in 13th and 14th respectively were Emerson Gunn (28:19) and Olivia Reisman (28:48) both with season-best times.  Lauren Miller (29:36) and Senior Cecilia Barber (35:37) rounded out the times for the Lady Chargers with solid runs as well.
