The North Decatur 8th grade girls’ basketball team took on county rival South Decatur in a tightly contested matchup Monday night. The Lady Chargers led for most of the game but were edged out in the final quarter, falling 21-24.
Allee Gray paced North Decatur with 11 points, while Isla Hess added 4. Macie Leake and Lanee Rennekamp each contributed 3 points. The loss moves the Lady Chargers to 1-7 on the season.
