(West Harrison, IN) – Students at North Dearborn Elementary School raised $23,458 in donations for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge.
Physical education classes at the school participated in the challenge to raise money for children who deal with heart issues.
“The Home of the Vikings” collected the third-highest donation amount in the State of Indiana.
Two hundred and seventy students registered for the fundraiser.
This is the 10th year North Dearborn has participated in the Kids Heart Challenge.
Last year, they raised a school record $28,920.
