Connersville, In. — A school bus reportedly carrying a swimming team from Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools was involved in a crash near the Connersville High School Tuesday.
Investigators say near the intersection of South Gray and Zigler Roads the bus went through a stop sign, hit a utility pole and flipped. Police are calling it an accident and expect the bus to be inspected today.
The bus was carrying 36 students, a coach and a driver. Police say 16 students suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
