(Greensburg, IN) – It came down to a tie-breaker, but when the dust settled, the North Decatur High School Drama Club took first place in the 14th Dancing with the Stars Boot Scootin’ for a Cause competition benefitting Greensburg Meals on Wheels on Thursday night.
After all six acts performed, it was determined that the drama club and the TATCO/Hickory Creek group were tied.
The judges deliberated for some time before choosing the North Decatur Drama Club.
Greensburg High School JAG raised the most money at more than $2,200 for the Meals on Wheels program that serves several Southeastern Indiana counties.
Dancing with the Stars is the organization’s biggest fundraiser each year.
The total amount raised at the event had not been tallied as of Friday morning.
In addition to home delivery of meals in Greensburg, the organization uses WRBI as a distribution site for clients in the Batesville area.
The Community Church of Greensburg on West Vandalia Road hosted the popular fundraiser.
