Nancy Sandman Curry, 75

Nancy Sandman Curry, 75, of Versailles, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at The Waters in Dillsboro. She was born on October 10, 1949. She was married to Larry F. Curry for 32 years and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Amelia Jane Herbert.

Survivors include one step-son, Larry David Curry of Holton, one step-daughter, Larissa (Chris) Garrett of Versailles; grandchildren, Ashley Franklin, Tony (Liza) Lloyd, Janna Lloyd, Suzanne (Josh) Bauman, Ellianna Waldron, Brittany Tunny, Larissa (EJ) Curry, Alexandrea Curry and Douglas Curry; 21 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a graduate of McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before retiring, her professional career was spent working at the Ripley County Area Planning Commission. She was a long-time member of the St. John’s Catholic Church in Osgood as well as the Women’s Legion Auxiliary Post 173. She was always an animal lover, having many dogs, cats and horses throughout her lifetime.

There will be a Catholic Mass on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 8:00am at St.John’s Catholic Church in Osgood followed by a celebration of life for Nancy in the parish hall from 9:00am-11:00am. All are welcome to attend.
