Mrs. Lisa Kay (Harmon) Claypoole, age 58, of Florence, Indiana, entered this life on December 7, 1963 in Carrollton, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of Gayle Dean and Ruth Ann (Farrell) Harmon. She was raised in Madison, Indiana and attended the Madison Consolidated High School. Lisa was united in marriage on March 24, 1989 to George William Claypoole at the Vevay Church of Christ. Lisa and George shared over 33 years of marriage together until her passing. Lisa was employed for the US Shoe Factory and Ogle Haus in Vevay, Indiana for several years. She was later employed for Dorman Products in Warsaw, Kentucky, retiring in 2017 after several years of service. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and mama and will be deeply missed. She enjoyed watching game shows, playing bingo, as well as, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Lisa passed away at 6:01 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2022, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Lisa leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, George William Claypoole of Florence, IN; her son, Jeremy Romans and his wife, Crystal of Florence, IN; her daughters, Tara Romans and her husband, Casey of Florence, IN and Tiffany Claypoole and her fiancé, Travis Eldridge of Florence, IN; Mama’s grandchildren, Brianna Scudder, Kiarra Romans, Madi Eldridge and Khaleesia Herbert; her father, Gayle Dean Harmon of Florence, IN; her brother, Timothy Gayle “Tim” Harmon, Sr. and his wife, Leanna of Florence, IN; her sisters, Pam Mays and her husband, Marv of Florence, IN and Debbie Cunningham of Florence, IN; her numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann (Farrell) Harmon, died September 20, 2019; her son, Justin William Claypoole, died July 13, 1997; her nephews, Timothy Gayle “Timmy” Harmon, Jr., died April 16, 2015 and Jeremy Kenneth Beuther, died January 16, 2016; her sister-in-law, Jill Ann (Davis) Harmon, died May 4, 2006 and her brother-in-law, Mike Ferguson, died November 4, 2010 as well as aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
