Mrs. Kristen Leigh-Anne Kendall, age 55, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on May 20, 1966 in Winchester, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of, Richard Allen Pegg and Karen Elaine (Comer) Nickell. She was raised in Yorktown, Indiana where she was a 1984 graduate of the Yorktown High School. Kristen was united in marriage on February 22, 1996 in Muncie, Indiana to Gary Robert Kendall. Kristen and Gary shared over 25 years of marriage together until her death. Kristen was formerly employed in food and beverage for a nursing home in Muncie, Indiana. She was a former baker for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana for eight years and for the Vevay IGA for three years. Kristen loved animals, especially horses, crafts, as well as, cake decorating, baking, drawing and gardening. Kristen passed away at 1:57 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kristen will be missed by her husband, Gary Robert Kendall of Vevay, IN; her mother, Karen Elaine (Comer) Nickell of Vevay, IN; her father and step-mother, Richard Allen and Barbara Pegg of Centerville, IN; her sisters, Bonnie Pegg of Vevay, IN and Tara Pegg of Richmond, IN and her nieces, nephews and cousin.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Rocky and Ryan Pegg.
A Celebration of Kristen’s life will be held at a later date.
