Mr. William Albert “Bill” Jones

Mr. William Albert “Bill” Jones, age 84, of East Enterprise, Indiana, entered this life on November 18, 1941 in Florence, Indiana. He was the son of the late Albert and Frances Bell (Lucas) Jones. He was raised in Florence, Indiana and attended Vevay High School. Bill was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Otter on December 21, 1964 in Vevay, Indiana. Bill was employed for Schenley Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana for several years and was also employed by the Indiana State Highway Department for several years. He enjoyed farming and loved his faithful dog, Bandit. Bill passed away at 7:21 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Otter) Jones of East Enterprise, IN; his sons, Dennis Jones and his wife, Elizabeth of Patriot, IN, and Jesse Jones and his wife, Stephanie of Patriot, IN; his grandchildren, Allen Jones, Ariel Jones, Brandon Jones, Tyler Jones, Jack Ogden, Jayla Jones, Bradley Adkins, and BrookLynn Adkins; his great-grandchildren, Cooper Lewis, Rylie Lewis, Lucas Lewis, Owen Lewis, Brielle Gullion, Shayliegh Gullion, and Ruger Gullion; his brothers, David Jones and his wife, Vicki of Lake Geneva, Robert Jones and his wife, Leah of Bloomington, IN, and John Jones and his wife, Rita of East Enterprise, IN; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Frances Bell (Lucas) Jones; his infant son, William Robert Jones; his great-grandson, Paxton Edward Gullion; and his brothers, William Robert “Jim” Jones and Jerrold Wayne “Jerry” Jones,

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Florence Cemetery, Florence, Indiana.
